The Wavetrac ATB LSD overcomes the issues that your customers will be familiar with in other ATB LSDs (loss of drive) with reduced or zero axle load. Thanks to the Wavetrac “wave hub” it can create internal load, maintaining drive in situations whereby drive would be lost, for example with a Quaife!
Because of this, the Wavetrac ATB LSD is a superior to all other ATB LSDs on the market and a serious competitor with plated differentials due to the improved drivability, lower NVH (noise vibration and harshness) and zero service requirements with zero performance drop-off throughout its life.
Simply put - Wavetrac is the only gear diff on the market that does not lose all drive when one axle is unloaded. Axles become unloaded in aggressive driving, track cornering, extremely slick surfaces, etc. It happens more than most people realise.
