The Whiteline BMR72Z rear anti-roll bar is made from 20mm solid spring steel and is 3 point adjustable = more grip = better handling = outright performance - it's one of the best £ for £ handling improvement you can make to your Mini. This Whiteline adjustable sway bar allows its rate to be altered by increasing or reducing the length of the lever arms. This permits the roll stiffness to be tuned for different situations without replacing the entire bar. The stiffer the bar, the more force required to move the left and right wheels relative to each other. This increases the amount of force required to make the body roll. The BMR72Z offers the following % in stiffness, compared to the OEM bar; R50 (16mm OEM) - 99%, 144% and 197% R53 (17mm OEM) - 56%, 92% and 133% R56 (18mm OEM) - 24%, 52% and 85% The 3 points of adjustability allow you to alter how the bar behaves - softest will give the feeling of a 19mm bar, middle a 20mm, and hardest a 21mm. Over the factory 17mm bar, this will increase stiffness by approx 56% / 92% / 133%.
