The Coolerworx Short Shifter PRO for the MINI R53 and R56 (and all similar variants) is a precision made shifter, perfectly suited for both road and track use. Each shifter is milled or lathed from aircraft-grade aluminium alloy with teflon bearings throughout for longevity, all moving parts are also sleeved to aid with this. In addition, all our shifters are anodised to prevent any corrosion.The special Carbon Edition shifters have a carbon shaft which gives these shifters a distinct look.Each shifter has fully adjustable gear lock out pins which prevent you from accidentally selecting the wrong gear during usage, this can be set up for race applications, preventing 5th gear from being selected.Fitting requires modification of the centre console.Please note that to fit these to pre-facelift MINIs (up to 12/2003), you will require the MINI facelift shifter cables.
