The LEAP Lambda R55-R59 MINI Cooper S Bonnet Scoop was designed with a bigger mouth, to improve the flow towards the inside of the hood maximising the quantity of air and reducing its velocity and turbulence.
We have tested the scoop in the real world to a speed up to 160Km/h, on peak temperatures of the engine and environment without noticing any deformation of the scoop. Its robust design and detailed fabrication guarantee its durability, in all weather conditions.
It is a direct replacement of the original scoop, with a bigger, enlarged, more aggressive design and better performance.
Please note that these are fibreglass items, and although every effort is made for the fit to be 100%, due to the manufacturing process and material, a small amount of prep may be required prior to installation.
