“The system arrived in good time and was relatively easy to install. But, I’m very disappointed with the pathetic amount of airflow. It doesn’t really even pull candle smoke into the cassette. Anybody have a better fan/ motor combo?”
“I had a bit of trouble installing the fan unit into the door of my canister compartment as the door is only 6mm thick and clearly the unit is designed for a door that is 25 to 30mm thick. As a consequence, I had to make a spacer and purchase some longer mounting screws which turned out to be quite a painful process. The instructions for the wiring could have been a little clearer as it wasn't obvious that connecting to the brown wire required removing the outer insulation off of a 4 core cable in order to get to the brown wire.
Despite the installation hassles the unit works well and there is no smell coming from the toilet anymore which is the whole reason for purchase.”
