“The trailer I purchased recently came with a DO-35 hitch. I wanted to be "double safe" and get a hitch lock in addition to the wheel boot/lock I have been using. I also wanted something less cumbersome to use when out exploring. But being in the US, there aren't a lot of folks that have these hitches and there aren't many stockists. I did some research online into these hitches and locks and discovered Outback Equipment and the Kovix unit. I prefer this design to the Cruisemaster one, because it covers the ENTIRE top of the hitch mechanism, leaving less exposed to either pry or cut on. The US dealers, if they even HAD a lock, it was the Cruisemaster one. The Kovix unit does preclude the plastic cover being put back on, however. Not a big deal to me, but it may be for some. Plus, it's less expensive than the factory one! A win-win, in my estimation! Enough cannot be said about Outback Equipment! LIGHTNING-fast, no hassle shipping to the US. I had my lock in hand in approximately 10 business days, faster than most US companies could get one to me IF they had something in stock!
I highly recommend the Kovix KBI-50S lock for the DO-35 hitch and Outback Equipment!”
