About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

We’re 100% Aussie-owned and operated, with our Brisbane showroom open 6 days a week. Swing by Acacia Ridge Monday to Friday (8am–5pm) or Saturday (8am–1pm), or call us on 1300 854 185 to chat about your next trip.

Quite happy with the product, only fault I could pick was that the threads where the two bolts go were a bit rusty & bolts were tight to get in even with lots of cutting lube oil.

This is a good value for money tow hitch that is more than strong enough to do the job. The only criticism is that the two threaded holes that are used to attach the tongue to the bar had binding threads and needed to be re-tapped.

This tow hitch is ideal for levelling my off-road camper. Rated at 3500kg, it is built solidly. I'm very happy with it.

I have not had such a pleasant shopping experience in a very long time. Im the first to admit , i have very little knowledge when it comes to towing or towing equipment but i was advised by a friend to look into getting an adjustable towbar hitch. I had NO IDEA what he was talking about so i went online to get some help. From the very moment i contacted Outback Equipment and spoke with their representative and explained my problem , i was made to feel very comfortable and knew exactly how to fix it. The adjustable towbar hitch arrived in record time and i could not be happier with the quality, packaging and the whole experience.

You can't buy the steel for the whole price including freight which was fast to Tasmania. The whole transaction took minutes and with excellent service. I cannot fault the company or product.
