“Bought 2 of these to use up cape york.put first one on at haan river roadhouse the start of pdr road to the cape.buy the time we got to the Jardine river ferry it was covered in red dust.i removed and shook and wiped clear.and I replaced it with the second unit to drive around area to weipa and removed in laura.same thing I've unit filter was coated in red dust.got back to port douglas and removed car airfilter it did have some red rust in it but could have needed replacing on 3 or 4 times during the trip. But only cost me 1 new filter both engine and cabin.so what I am saying these uni filter socks are a must for dusty trips and the also reduced the water splashes comming into the snorkel.i also cable tied onto snorkel inlet. Thanks for a great product.”
