About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

We’re 100% Aussie-owned and operated, with our Brisbane showroom open 6 days a week. Swing by Acacia Ridge Monday to Friday (8am–5pm) or Saturday (8am–1pm), or call us on 1300 854 185 to chat about your next trip.

Good quality bag. We loaded it up for our trip and it held up well. The only problem we had was the straps are way too short. Advertised as fitting up to 35s. We’ve only got 32s and no chance. Had to tie the straps together behind the wheel. Didn’t have time to send back so had to make do.

In a word terrible . Clips broke off first trip. Had to cable tie the bag to the rear wheel after this as it was the first day of a 5000 k trip . Save your money buy a more expensive brand that will have better quality fittings . I gave this a 1 star only because I couldn’t give a zero

I use it now since 2 weeks and after about a week the zipper just broke and it opens the whole bag. Therfore I think it's very bad quality and I wouldn't buy it again. I suggest a better zipper quality and then it might be a better rating.

Not a great story. The bag was placed on the rear wheel of my caravan…. Drove approx 3 kilometres over unsealed road and both plastic clips broke off. So total waste of money. Not sure why or how this happened as it was securely fastened . I have rushed the bag albeit using cable ties to secure it.

Sadly it doesn’t come close to fitting over a 33” tyre. Let alone a 35” tyre as advertised.

Very pleased with it. Very strong material and solid zippers. With folds to cover the zippers so they are water proof. Highly recommend this bag for travel.
