No matter what you choose, we're sure you will love this unique, attractive, and extremely functional garden shed. The panelized walls feature Western Red Cedar cladding already attached to the wall framing at our manufacturing facility. You can leave it as is with the Standard Plywood Roof or you can choose to upgrade to either a Metal or Western Red Cedar Shingle Panelized Roofing System to best suit your needs! Installation is easy and safe and requires no dangerous, time-consuming cutting - simply screw or nail components together with the supplied hardware. Assembly takes two to three days to complete with a helper and the kit includes a detailed homeowner’s assembly manual. Weekend and evening assembly assistance is available through our toll-free customer support line at 1-888-658-1658.> The 31 in. wide Dutch Door (2 pieces)  gives the shed a charming look while providing additional functionality for you. The shed is 384 cu. ft. and packs a ton of storage capacity due to its 85 in. high wall on one side. Six functional aluminum windows with screens and locks offer great ventilation and security, while at the same time keeping the bugs out. Four flower boxes are also provided adding even more curbside appeal. One side of the roof utilizes a 6mm thick twin wall Polygal panel that is translucent, allowing filtered light to pour in - great for growing all your vegetables and working in! The Sunshed Garden Shed also includes a 16 in. deep L-shaped full-wall workbench, creating a convenient place to work or store your supplies. The shed is made entirely with renewable resources and accepts a wide range of finishes to help you create a personalized look. It's a well-designed kit, but also incredibly beautiful once assembled. I'm looking forward to applying a nice stain to the exterior to retain the look of the red cedar, and perhaps running electricity to it so I can make a mini-workshop out of it. For those who are wondering, the glass (actually plastic) panels are pretty nice, but another pleasant surprise was the quality of the windows. My mother-in-law is already trying to figure out if she can move in there, but I don't think she really wants to sleep on the lawnmower. :-)

We love this shed. It looks really nice and is exactly what we expected based on the photos online. Putting the shed together took us 2 and a half days and then staining took another day (it took two gallons). There were two of us, but most of the work was a one person job. You do need two people for some important steps though. Assembly wasn't complicated, just a lot of steps and a lot of screws. Most of the pieces were bundled together and labeled so that was helpful. If you are planning to stain your shed I would highly recommend staining the roof shingles before you put the roof on. We were on a tight timeline so we put it all together first and then stained. The roof is pretty high up and you really have to reach to get to the middle of it. The legs for the bench inside need an angled cut to fit but it didn't say that in the instructions. It was easy enough to cut them with a jigsaw, but be aware if you don't have a saw. Overall it's a great product and it was a fun project.

Overall I am very pleased with the way my 8'X8' cedar shed has turned out. However, I do have a few concerns ... In terms of installation, the main panels were reasonably easy to install. However, it took MUCH longer than anticipated to install the many smaller and more fiddly bits. Also, the supports for the benches required a saw to cut them at the necessary angle. In terms of design, we appreciated being able to swap the positioning of the door and window on one of the walls. However, the overhang for the roof needs to be longer: when it rains, all the water drains into the flower boxes below -- and those boxes didn't arrive with holes drilled in the bottom. The bolt on the exterior of the door is quite strong (though the black paint is already coming off), but the door also requires a bolt on the INSIDE if one plans to stay inside and keep the door closed. In terms of quality, the shed is excellent for the price we paid (we managed to buy it on sale), and we're particularly pleased with the quality of the windows. That said, small knots are falling out of some of the cedar panels and need to be filled. And as some other reviewers have pointed out, a LOT of caulking is needed to seal thin gaps in many of the panels. Finally, given the amount of snow we get here in Northern Ontario, we felt it wise to reinforce the somewhat flimsy plastic panels in the roof. Sounds like a lot of criticism, but we're very pleased overall. I've painted the floor blue, installed some IKEA easy chairs, made cushions and curtains, added art work ... the shed (our "casita") has become a lovely place to sit and relax.

It was fairly straightforward to put together. There were a couple of areas where the instructions were too vague and unless you have a good idea of building systems you might struggle.

Great shed! Windows, skylights and bench tops. I also bought the extra shelf kit. Great quality and design.

It's a beautiful and well designed shed made of quality cedar, carefully cut to size. The instructions should emphasize that the "front" is the side with the door - not the side with 4 windows. The instructions should say that the floor isn't square! and needs to be oriented correctly. After speaking with a sales person, it sounded like I could build this kit with a friend. But the rafter and roof sections are very heavy and rather awkward - probably must be handled by 2-3 strong men. I'm stuck with a half-finish shed - can't find anyone to hire at this point.

Very nice build. Did it alone in a couple of days. Installing facia and trims was especially time-consuming. Mounting and aligning the roof alone was a bit challenging. I would suggest informing the customers that they have to unload completely the pallet to have access to the initial pieces. Although the assembly instructions are straightforward, they aren't given in an order that would make sense to protect the unfinished shed from the rain as soon as possible (roof, roof peak, windows, door). All in all, a pleasant assembly.
