The 8 ft. x 12 ft. Sunshed Garden Shed strikes the perfect balance between form and function. In other words, it looks fantastic while providing you with plenty of options on how to use the space. Use it as a greenhouse to get an early start on your growing season. Use it as a hobby house or retreat where the natural light creates the perfect creative environment, or just use it as a simple but beautiful storage solution. The point is, now you’ve got options with great style! The panelized walls feature Western Red Cedar cladding already attached to the wall framing at our manufacturing facility. When you add a unit to your shopping cart the price will default to a Standard Plywood Roof. You can leave it as is with the Standard Plywood Roof or you can choose to upgrade to either a Metal or Western Red Cedar Shingle Panelized Roofing System to best suit your needs! Installation is easy and safe and requires no dangerous, time-consuming cutting. Simply screw or nail the components together with the supplied hardware. Assembly takes two to three days to complete with a helper and the kit includes a detailed homeowner’s assembly manual. Weekend and evening assembly assistance is available through our toll-free customer support line at 1-888-658-1658. The 31 in. wide Dutch Door (2 pieces) gives the shed a charming look while providing additional functionality for you. The shed is 587 cu. ft. and packs a ton of storage capacity due to its 85” high wall on one side. Eight functional aluminum windows with screens and locks offer great ventilation, while at the same time keeping the bugs out. One side of the roof utilizes a 6mm thick twin wall Polygal panel that is translucent, allowing filtered light to pour in - great for growing all your vegetables and working in! The 8 ft. x 12 ft. Sunshed Garden Shed also includes a 16 in. deep L-shaped full-wall workbench that makes a convenient place to work or store your supplies. The unit is made entirely with renewable resources and accepts a wide range of finishes to help you create a personalized look. The entire unit ships on a pallet via a motor freight company directly to your residence. See our home delivery options to learn more! After having purchased a cedar playhouse from OLT in 2020, we purchased the 12 x 12 Sunshed Garden Shed in the spring of 2024. We could not be more happy with the quality of the materials, the clarity of the instructions, and the beauty of the finished shed. The kit components were noticeably crafted with a high level of precision and attention to detail. Some exceptional examples included the precise bevels on the top plates that the rafters rest on. Another was the dado cuts on the window trim pieces. I imagined how long it would have taken me if I had attempted to cut the bevels on the top plates or the dados on the window trim myself (answer: a long, long time!). There were two tasks that required assistance of others when building the kit: flipping the floor framing over and lifting the two rafter sections to form the roof. The directions indicated that two assistants would be helpful completing these tasks. However, there may be a metric conversion issue. Two Canadian assistants must equal three Americans, because I was glad to have three of my buddies helping me with the lifting during these steps! I highly recommend the kits from Outdoor Living Today, having been completely satisfied with both. The price was well worth the quality and beauty of the finished product. I would love to share some pictures of how it turned out, but I can't find a way to upload them.

This is a high-quality product! The instructions for the most part are very good, but in a few areas are not the most clear. The assembly videos on YouTube are very helpful for clarifying things if the written directions leave you wondering. As a professional handyman for many years I worked with a helper and it took us 2.5 days to complete. We could have done it in 2 longer days if we chose to do so. I would highly recommend this product.... It's one of the best I've seen or ever assembled out there.... You'll love it!

Built this shed several years ago(6-7?) and it has held up really well. Our summers are very dry, winters can have significant snow accumulation. We have had to re-stain it several times. The kit was well designed, but several pieces were so warped I had to go to the lumber store to make replacements. This winter will be one for the record books. I am surprised that the roof (including the solar windows) have held up to the winters. I wish I could include a picture, we have 4-5 feet of snow piled on top of it now.

The shed was easy to assemble, and customer service was great! The materials are also good quality, and the finished product looks really good. However, I live in a rainy climate (Oregon), and the shed has some issues with moisture. I read this in reviews before I bought it, and used a ton of extra caulking on every joint for that reason. However, the water seeps through the siding (the roof overhang is inadequate to keep water off the walls), through the roof itself, and the skylight portion especially - no matter how well sealed you make the joints with silicone, the lap boards there just aren't waterproof. The water will seep through them, into the joists, and into the walls. I'll likely have to put a new roof on it just to keep the water out. If you live in a dry climate, or somewhere with light rain, it'd probably be fine. But for the Pacific Northwest, you'll want to give the moisture some serious consideration.

We love the shed. Putting the shed together was more difficult than other reviews said it was. We had several shingles and boards that were very thin or split in shipment, but they were replaced. We also went to a local hardware store and bought additional press board for the floor because a couple of prices of the floor sent was so thin it bowed when we walked on it. Customer service was darn good about replacing the small peices of wood.
