“When shooting the Sterling 9mm ammunition I had mixed charges. Some were normal and some shot very cold meaning the powder charges were not consistent when they were manufactured. At times I would experience malfunctions because the charges were way too low. It is cheap ammo and it is better than nothing I suppose but I would spend a little more and get better ammunition for my dollar.
I have had great luck with the Russian ammo in the past, a little dirty but functioned consistently but ammo manufactured in Turkey may need some time to get better.”
“Acceptable for the range. It has a weak charge that results in failures to eject/feed. Jammed several times in Glock 19, a couple times in Canik TP9SF and once in Girsan Regard Six. Also fairly dirty, but no big deal.
Blazer aluminum is a better value at this price (~$.24/round), otherwise I would give Sterling a rating of 3/5.”
