“Quality glass, thick and stable in windy conditions, blocks wind well. Only bad thing for me is that instructions for mounting the glass cover for the burner is lacking. The screws to remove from burner cover is unclear. U can remove wrong screws if you aren’t careful. Also u don’t need to go thru hassle of removing glass ‘coals?’ and flipping over pit to install burner cover holder. You can install by working underneath like changing oil in your car. This will save lots of time as I figured out afterwards, unfortunately.
Also, if you can make the cover out of heavier, thicker matl it should hold up longer to sun cracking the black plastic

“Great looking set for my 403 fire table. Little inconvenience storing wind guard when covering, but no big deal. Cover is pretty tight when putting on, so we'll have to see how long before it tears seams.”
