“I totally agree with many of the reviews I've read. The table itself is fantastic, but baby, that cover is HELL. I don't know what the hell the manufacturer was thinking when they sat at a design table and came up with that crap. Go back to the drawing board and do better.”
“Well it just got cool enough to crank up the fire table for the first time and it works and looks fantastic. I also ordered the glass protection for around the fire itself and the cover. The only disappointment I have it that the cover does not fit the table. It is very small and difficult to get it to go on at all. I would have rated the whole deal 5 stars but have to reduce to 4 as the cover is useless. With that said fire table is fantastic but cover is a big disappointment.

“I loved this table so much I bought two. (See my earlier review). My issue is with the cover. Review after review on Amazon echoed the same problem folks. Pretty poor when the hassle of taking the $39 cover on and off becomes a deterrent from using such a great product simply BECAUSE IT IS WAY TOO TIGHT. When the manufacturer says in the manual and I quote: "Trust us it will go on" is a dead giveaway they are aware but not the least interested in resolving the problem. Now i'm spending another $50 from a competitor for TWO new covers that fit correctly. Shame on you people!”
“Exactly as pictured! Gives off great heat in addition to beautiful ambiance. Easy to to turn on. Highly recommend getting the accessories (glass top cover, storage cover). Gave 4 stars because parts did not always line up 100% I would recommend NOT tightening screws all the way until ALL parts are in place despite what directions say. Only 1 of our 2 20 gallon propane tanks would fit under the table. Glad we had a shorter tank to try. There were also a lot of fine glass particles in the fire ice glass rock, so I ended up having to clean the rocks before putting them in the fire table. All in all great firepit for the price!!!”
“Love this product after receiving it 4 days ago. Looks great. Flame is clean and strong. Wish I would have ordered the accessories for it immediately. Once we put it together, we realized the need for the other pieces.
The only flaw is the ignition system can be a pit troubling every now and then. It clearly sparks and does not ignite the gas. I am now using a candle lighter to ignite gas. That works just fine. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars because that is the only hiccup I noticed so far.”
“I SO wanted to give this item a 5 star review. This table is beautiful. Simply elegant in both its design and functionality. The flames are way more than adequate and so far the ignitor device seems to work perfectly. A couple small issues kept me from going gaga beyond expectations. The table arrived seemingly undamaged as I was there to personally inspect it when it came from Amazon via UPS. I found no visible damage on the shipping container. Upon opening the box as instructed, I noticed that the wicker on one corner was damaged on the underside. No biggie. I applied a little Gorilla Glue and it seems fine. However, when it came time to flip the table right side up, a one inch scratch in the black glass became evident in the same corner. Bummer.
I also ordered the three piece accessory kit direct from Outland Living. There were two obvious sets of holes on each wicker end piece that seemed the likely place to mount both brackets and they DID fit there. Nope, wrong. After turning the table upright it became very apparent that the end-caps are way too far apart to support the length of the glass cover. What's up with that?
All in all, a terrific purchase. I should note however that three days after my table was delivered the price on Amazon dropped from $699.99 to $469.99! I know I should have been annoyed, but I just couldn't resist snagging another one for the front porch! Lol! It's supposed to arrive this Saturday. I guess we'll see ...”
“It has been happening with almost all outdoor furniture/peripherals, but Outland Living regrettably followed the same playbook as other manufacturers and preyed on the initial surge in interest and then shortage of their product. Unlike most objects like any car, phone, tv. etc. you would buy, the value of this product apparently differs based on the popularity of it. Pretty greedy if you ask me.”
