“This propane fire pit is an incredible addition to my camping equipment. Now that I'm not foraging for firewood, trying to keep it dry, splitting it up, nor processing kindling I have more time to relax and enjoy myself.
The fire pit is very simple to use and setup. I can roast hot dogs and marshmallows. I can put a grate from an old grill across the top and cook on it. The even heat is relaxing and warm. I do admit that I miss the smell of a wood fire, but I DO NOT MISS the smoke blowing in my face and burning my eyes, so that's an easy trade-off. Also, this whole thing cools off surprisingly quick. I am able to move it by hand a lot sooner after I turn it off than I expected and I can pack it up within an hour at most.
One thing I don't like is that the rocks produce a lot of dust. I hope that diminishes over time.”
“This fire pit has been the best thing I ever bought. Sometimes you come home from work and you want to sit outside and relax but the sun is going down and getting a little cold. In literal seconds you have a blazing fire to keep you warm and if you want to sit out for 30-45 minutes and then be done, with this you can. With a wood fire you have to really commit to an extended period of time. The gas fire pit is instant on and off for as long as you like. High quality construction and very light is easy to transport. Brought over to neighbors driveway to give out Halloween candy, as it was freezing and all the people coming by loved it. Is also very efficient, on highest setting 20lb propane tanks are lasting for multiple fires. Another bonus is no smoke or ash. No moving your chair or your clothes smelling like smoke if there is a shifting wind. There is no better value for the price as the many hours you will spend using it.”
“We own two of these fire pits one at home and one for our winter home. They are so easy to use without the mess of wood and always having woodsmoke in your face. They put out lots of heat as well and when your finished with your fire you just turn it off. No more waiting until it burns down so it is safe to leave. No more stinking like smoke either especially when camping and have a limited amount of water for showering. It seems lately that there are so many fire bans that you can’t have a wood fire anyway. We would never go back to stinky , smoky wood fires. Just our opinion though.”
“I live in New England. Fall fires are a wAy of life. Though it takes so long to get a wood fire going well. This fire pit solves that lay fall even winter issue. In a second you have a roaring hot fire going, and when you are done you just turn it off. I have sat outside in 30 degrees with this going and had to turn it down. Tons of heat and instant on, instant off. Quality is fantastic and absolutely love it.”
