“The casket itself was pretty nice. The finish was a little cheap looking (it looked like sprayed on color and varnish) but at a distance, it wasn’t bad. Biggest reason I rated this down was not so much about the casket but about the delivery. The casket was not packaged well and arrived damaged - chips on edges, scrapes where nylon packaging strap wore through box and was rubbing against casket, and other damage. The funeral home was able to buff out some of the spots and we used a Sharpie to fill in chips and scrapes. Of course, there is no time to do a return or get a replacement so we were stuck making the best of it.”
