Hi James, I am sorry to hear that our sheets do not meet your expectations. Our sheets are made with a balanced percale weave that is designed to help with breathability. We carefully craft our fabric to be 105 grams per square meter (GSM). This is to make it soft, durable, and breathable. In the past, our sheets were at a higher GSM. However, we received a lot of negative feedback and after doing some research, found that densities higher than 105 GSM are meant for colder climates. Since then, we have kept our sheets at a density that is neither too thick or thin (105 GSM). Thread count is measured by counting the number of threads contained in one square inch of fabric including both the length (warp) and width (weft) threads. Our thread is made from 10 threads plied together. This results in 180 * 10 threads contained in one square inch, or 1800 Thread Count. Thread count is not related to the density of the fabric. Either way, I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our sheets.

“I'm sorry but the quality of these sheets is NOT 1800 thread sheet count. Upon washing the first time the sheets fell apart and I was 0ffered a replacement set. I would never want a replacement of something made with such poor quality. I'm stuck with these substandard sheets. I would never purchase again@”

“Made in China, 1800 thread Egyptian is very misleading / not true, it is a very thin fabric. Terrible a 400 thread is twice a better quality fabric. I wish I never bought these. The Pillow case extra small... Such a con. I am afraid to wash them. Onion Skin Sheets”
