“I’m a little disappointed in the quality, it turned up with the clasp being very finicky, requiring quite a bit of fiddling to get it to work. I emailed support and while the responses were very quick and friendly the solution was ‘bend it’. So I’ve fixed it, kind of. It still isn’t perfect, but it works better than it did and once it’s on it looks fine and seems secure.
Compared to the cost of the apple version though, I’m happy with the purchase - just don’t expect it to be as good.”
“This watchband replaced an Apple original ceramic watchband. Faced with paying $719 for an original strap or under $100, it was an easy choice. In the past, I have purchased watchbands from the likes of eBay and have been a bit disappointed with the quality. I chose Oz Straps because they were Australia based and promised quick delivery - which was a couple of working days.
The quality of the strap is excellent. The weight is similar to the original and the finish is really good. The only difference that is evident is the way the strap is adjusted. The Apple offers push-button adjustment whereas this strap requires the use of the provided tool. This was pretty simple, and I removed a few links within minutes. - It's a small price to pay for a saving of over $600, and it's something I'll only ever do once.
