“I recently acquired a budget piece for my collection; a shiny new SEIKO 5 SNK355K1. This classy little 38mm polished stainless steel automatic model cost me the princely sum of 1 hundred and one Australian dollars. The quality dial, exhibition back and day date complication make this one of the best watches money can buy at this price-point... except the bracelet, which is a horrid folded stainless steel jangley abomination.
So, my mission was to find a classic watch band that included a high quality leather band with a highly polished clasp to complete the new watch, for under 40 dollars.
Mission accomplished... I ordered the Mayfair Black with tan stitching, as it met the price-point and looked reasonable in the pictures.
I have to say the pictures do not do this watch band justice. This Mayfair Black is beautiful, classy and the glossy polished stainless steel deployant clasp is unbelievably impressive and even includes some stunning pearlage' work inside the main clasp plate.
Needless to say, I am very impressed with my new watch thanks to this Mayfair strap.”
