“This review is for the Mayfair with deployant clasp. I must acknowledge that Oz Staps has a higher quality French Calf strap in their range.
These are great watch straps for the price however comfort isn’t as good as some more expensive straps that are calf lined. The Oz Strap isn’t uncomfortable, just not as comfortable as other softer higher quality leather straps I’ve worn. That said, after five minutes you don’t know you’ve got a watch on. There’s always a compromise and these straps have been manufactured to last and will definitely wear longer than calf, particularly with the deployant clasp which is of excellent quality.
I fitted a strap on a steel/gold Omega Speedmaster in lieu of an $800 OEM strap and the watch lost nothing and no untrained eye could possibly tell it wasn’t the original strap.
I definitely recommend the classic leather Oz Strap as a replacement strap for any watch.
