It is getting harder to find a QUALITY pair of aero shoe covers for time trial racing. Found 'em! These are great! Great slick fabric and the fit is just the way I like it! They stay UP and they stay ZIPPED while racing. I don't need to be concerned my covers are going to come unzipped or start creeping down! I was concerned as to what size to get as I am a 43 and like a tight fit. The Medium size are perfect! I dislike flapping fabric! I ordered the black as my skin suits are mostly black but I can see these would be great for visibility (in the Manic Yellow or Rubine). My calves are a little muscular as well but the zipper goes all the way to the top and the pull hides in its little cover. The sole holes are perfectly placed. On every pair of aero covers I have, I have put a little patch of black (extreme-type) duct tape where I will be stepping on my toes prior to race start. This is a vulnerable area for ALL aero covers. I replace it every 4-5 races. I had no fantasies that these would be for warmth but they may provide some protection from the wind; I'm too busy going fast to notice! There are other products available if warm covers is what you are looking for (Storm + covers, for example). Great, well-made aero covers! I'll shop here when I need more!

The Ascent shoe covers are great for cooler weather but not anything under 40°f my toes still froze when I wore them this past winter. They did keep them a tad bit warmer. I would recommend them, if your toes get cold or your going thru damp weather.

I have two sets of these covers, one in black and the other in high-vis yellow. They fit well over the shoe and ankle and do a good job of protecting the shoe from road grime. Do they make me more aero? I'm not sure but I'd like to think so. The black one is fraying and has some holes and tears on it after several uses. The hole from the from is from toe overlap and the holes on the bottom from walking around in shoes with them installed. However, they are still perfectly usable if a bit worn. Side note: I have difficultly zipping these up all the way. Seems the bottom of my calves might be a bit large for it. So, I just sausage them in or zip them up to about two inches from the top.

I’ve been enjoying these shoe covers and have used them enough that they’re getting holes in the front area where they come in contact with the ground during stops and walking. I bought a second pair to have handy for the next season.

Not a huge deal, but I have big calves and these will not pull all the way up. Also, black looks purplish in full sunlight.

The shoe covers work perfect in 40 to 60 degree weather.
