Thermal performance of the bibs is exceptional. For the price, I wish they included a higher end chamois. It seems to fit like a low tier chamois, not comfortable for any longer than 90-120 minutes.

Got my first pair of Pactimo thermal bibs last fall as the weather began to cool. This is the perfect set of bibs for my 48 mile round trip commute when the mid morning commute to work was warm(er) but the trip home at 9pm got a little nippy. Paired with leg warmers, these bibs functioned from 40-65 degrees. Picked up a second pair this winter! Ready for warmer weather in Iowa to get back to commuting bike bike again. Thigh pockets are AWESOME for snacks during the commute and also weekend gravel grinds!

This is my 3rd pair of Alpine thermal bibs. Bought a few because I do multiday rides and the ATBs are fabulous. The pockets are fabulous as well as super convenient, and one of the reasons why I bought a few.

Surprising how many 5-star ratings given to these bibs. Had to say something. Have the reviewers previously owned pactimo gear? I ride exclusively in pactimo bibs (12- hour, Alpine, Storm, artist, etc.) and this new design cut with the horizontal panel at the waist is not an improvement. It cuts into the abdomen – runs parallel to the muscles guys! Hello! It digs into the stomach creates cramps that can only be avoided if you have to pull them way up, which makes it very snug in the crotch. Somehow the straps are located different too, for me, creating nipple rip and necessitating a base layer under the bibs for anything over an hour ride. Love pactimo winter base layer - amazing! but don’t always want to wear one. The bibs are made of outstanding materials, excellent pad – as always! But really, you gotta check this design direction. Not what you think it is.

My first pair of thermal bibs and first pair with outside pockets. They feel more compressive than regular shorts. I love them. Snug and comfortable. Temps in CO have been in 40s and 50s mostly since I began wearing these. Got down into mid 30’s on several rides. Maybe low 60s on a few. Lots of wind too. Wearing them with knee and leg warmers. Maybe wore them in too warm weather once or twice simply cuz I like them. What I thought was trendy gravel trend (I’m still riding my 29 inch FS mtn bike everywhere) has been good too - the pockets are great for key and ID and gels and spare wool beanie.

I commute to work year round. Where I live it rarely falls below freezing, but for a week or two out of the year. Knee warmers, thermal knee socks and... summer bibs have not been cutting it.

After a friend suggestion, bought these thermal bibs on sale. First time with bibs that have “pockets” on the thighs. These are fantastic for trash wrappers during longer gravel (and road) rides. Thermal fabric is perfect for the cooler morning commutes but doesn’t overheat on the afternoon warmer commutes home. Will definitely be purchasing more of these in the future.
