I now have about 500 miles in them, so it’s still early. My impression is that they are excellent. I’ve worn Assos for years and been very satisfied…and would likely have continued, except that Assos changes their designs constantly, and the current versions don’t seem to fit as well, seem overly complicated for a weekend rider…and they are not inexpensive. So reluctantly I decided it was time to try other brands. I tried Castelli, Rapha, Pearls, and Capo, and the Pactimo Stratos fit me by far the best. While I’ve only had them a short time and can’t yet judge the wear or longevity, the construction seems first rate, the length just right, and the fabric construction/pattern/weave is indeed cooler than the Assos. Everyone is different, but I find them very, very comfortable; in fact, on my first ride with them I forgot all about them in the first 5 minutes, and after about 3 hours, they still were very comfortable with no issues— the straps didn’t dig into my shoulders, the pad, the leg grippers, subtle compression— all good. In the course of figuring out what to order (I tried the Summit Raptor as well— also a nice bib, but I liked the Stratos better) had a few questions and called them when I was ordering, and their customer service was also first rate. I’ve had great luck with their Ascent 2 Jersey as well— I have the Davis Phinney edition which I picked up at the Copper Triangle a few years ago. I am now a fan, and intend to get a 2nd pair of the same bibs soon. Good luck!

I am not able to comment on the durability yet but so far so good. They fit great. I am 5'10" and 174lbs with a broad build and the large bib and jerseys are perfect.

I recently purchased the Summit Stratos "12-Hour" bibs and would highly recommend them. I used them on several 4-6 hour rides, including one on gravel roads and they were very comfortable, and also wicked well, which was nice with the heat and humidity we have been having this summer.

Went for a 80 mile ride in 80degree weather. When the back side begins to sweat most bibs sag or become uncomfortable. These worked just fine. They felt good for the hole ride.

Have been cycling for over 30 years and these are the most comfortable pair of bib/shorts I have ever owned. I spend over 10 hours a week on my bike between training and coaching my kids cycling team. These are my go to bib. I will eventually replace my other shorts with Stratos when the wear out.

These bib shorts are the best I have every worn. Have ridden two rides with them and agree you don't even know the are on you. My 46 mile ride was hot and humid. I did not even feel wet or hot.

I now have purchased two of these Bib's and they are exactly as advertised. The thoughtful design, superior workmanship (great straps, great chamois, superb support to the legs) all add up to my go to Bib's.
