“I have been using this all winter. I have to say this has been my favorite jacket this season. I find myself grab it all the time. Keeps me warm and with the dual zipper, keeps me cool as well. It’s light and comfortable. I hope this style sticks around. I would like to see more colors. I’m 5’6” and about 175lbs, 41in chest, athletic build, and I ordered a large. Everything fits well, sleeves are a tad long for me but it doesn’t bother me.”

“This jacket is very warm the only thing I wish is that it came in brighter colors for visibility. mine is sky blue in color but other than that it's great!”

“It's hard to believe that this lightweight jacket can keep you warm on rides in the 30s. The Polartec Alpha insulation really works well, as all I need on the cold days is a long sleeve base layer. The jacket breathes well so you don't hold in the perspiration and get cold from being wet inside. It is form fitting but not pulled skintight on my 5'11", 175 lb frame (41" chest, 33" waist, broad shoulders); ordered a Large.”

“This jacket is super comfortable. I love that it lacks bulk but is warm. The new thermal lining is great for warmth and breaths quite well. The two-way zipper helps to keep me well ventilated as temps change and the zipper tag is easy to grab with thicker gloves on. I'm 5'10'' and 180 lbs and sized up from my normal L to XL so I can add a middle layer, when needed. My only wish is that there was some extra wind protection on the chest. If you have a lot of wind, then opt for the vertex instead.”

“A lighter and less warm version of the alpine jacket compared with the previous version. This one has a much lighter and more breathable shell with the addition of some insulation. It’s good for warmer days. The previous version had a much more weather proof shell and could be used as an outer shell over layers for the coldest days.”
