“When I opened the package I thought the jersey wouldn’t be as warm as advertised. I was wrong. It is perfect in high 50s and 60s with no base. Mid-50s with short sleeve base and long base below that. Don’t underestimate the warmth of this thing. I had to turn back 5 minutes into my first ride to get my base layer off. ”

“Have only worn once, but the fit is great (I'm 6'6", 196lbs and bought XL), Sleeves are nice and long. RT tech is great and seems to be warm...was high 40's low 50's and did not need my vest.”

“This jersey is quickly becoming a staple in my winter wardrobe. I can wear the Alpine Thermal RT Jersey and a base layer and easily ride in the 40's with no problem. Also, I got it in orange and between the bright color and the reflective panels it gives me a sense of security that drivers can see me. 5'8 and 155lbs and a medium fits me perfectly.”

“I've worn this jersey 5 times in temps ranging from low 40s to mid 50's, with one day of light drizzle. Paired with an underlayer, this jersey keeps me comfortably warm. The fabric isn't waterproof, so it won't be sufficient on a long, wet ride; however, it does insulate well when damp...Tapered cuffs are a thoughtful design feature--a little longer on the top/outside of wrist, which ensures full coverage over/under your gloves (thus, no exposed skin). Back pockets are big enough to to hold food, tools, phones, etc. securely, and the zippered pocket is nice for keys, wallet, cash or other stuff you can't afford to pop out when you hit a pothole or speedbump. Bottom line: I'd buy another one of these jerseys without question.”
