“Bought a bright color for myself and a gift for a cycling friend. The gaiter was far too tight around the nose and mouth. Smushed our noses, making it difficult to breathe. Sorry I bought them.”

“The problems here are that the material is too light to be even vaguely warm and, much worse, too tight to wear over the face. Both my wife and I notice the same problem, which we do not have with standard buffs from numerous other sources. The clever idea here is the cut, which minimized bunching of material behind the neck—very nice for cycling. But we cannot really breath or be comfortable when we pull this gaiter up over our chins so we will use them around our necks, but not get any more nor recommend them.”

“Already own a couple of this in different colors, they do the job! Abit tight to get over head but no big deal there. Would recommend!”

“I initially reviewed this for being too tight around the face. I found a work around that works well. If you flip the gator upside down (tight side over your neck) and turn the back of the gator around to be the front, you can cover your chin to nose and pull the excess over the back of your head and cover your ears. I'm sure it's not what was intended, but it works.”

“This is a nice neck gaiter, I really like that it comes down further and I can tuck it into my jacket or jersey. I will agree with some of the reviews that say it is fairly tight around the face. This has not been a problem for me and I actually like it tight because it dose not fall down.”
