“I've had the Pactimo skull cap for several years, and while I love its comfort and warmth, its snug fit and scratchy material around the ear makes it a bit hard to hear. I was wanting a cap for winter rides when the sun is low, but I didn't want to sacrifice the warmth or ear protection of a skull cap or headband. Enter the Alpine Thermal Cap. It checks all of my boxes: warm, protection from low sun and light drizzle, and a comfortable fit that's neither too snug nor too loose. A huge added bonus is the extra room around the ears that allows me to wear my large wireless earbuds. My skull cap is too tight around my ears to make that possible.”

“This is a nice hat for those cold days. Very comfortable. The flaps don't stay over my ears completely Which is OK after I have warmed up, but at the beginning of rides, a bit cold.”
