“Overall it’s pretty good and comfortable but after a 2 hour ride, my sit bones were starting to get tender. I’ve used some that last a bit longer. Also, it would be nice to have the loops for mountain bike shorts”

“Needed something to replace my aging shorts. Been wearing tri-shorts mostly due to better ventilation and like thin padding. I am 5'5", 155lbs, 32 waist. Ordered Men's Apex in small and medium, settled for medium. Small fits fine, but the side mesh stretches more and leg opening may be tight on long ride. I prefer to road ride at night so may wear shorts by itself. Only issue is small or medium, shorts have wrinkles in front but only cosmetics. Definitely will buy more in the future.”

“The Apex liner shorts fit and feel great. I’ve been using them as a liner short for mountain biking and bikepacking under a pair of bike-specific baggie shorts. I’ve used them on rides as long as eight hours in the saddle. They have proven to be every bit as comfortable and well made as the various Pactimo bib shorts I use for the road. They are light and breathable and a great match to any warm or hot weather ride.”

“I was wanting a pair of liner shorts and when I found that they used a similar chamois as the excellent Ascent shorts I ordered a pair. I'm 5-6, 145 lbs and the medium fit me great. They are excellent as a liner when I commute and I see them as being my main shorts on the trainer.”
