“Great piece for all winter rides. No problem with the low end of the temperature rating; with the recent arctic freeze in Denver this jacket performed well on an hour+ ride down to -18C with some dangerous wind chill. Also vents and breathes nicely on warmer winter rides up to +10C.”

“I received this as a gift, and I was skeptical about its ability to keep me warm. I have been using this for several months now, and it has been great. I wear it with a SmartWool base layer, and that’s it. Last week, I went on one ride that unexpectedly turned into a sleet storm, and although I was literally covered in a layer of ice when I returned home, I was comfortable the entire time. Another recent ride was 24° F (15° with wind chills), and again, I was totally fine after a brief warm-up. Of course, I wouldn’t want to be sitting idle fixing a flat when it’s that cold, but otherwise, this is a great jacket. I should note that I normally wear a medium, and this jacket in a medium cannot fit anything other than a base layer under it. If you want more layers (which I haven’t needed), try going one size up from your normal one. Now, if I could only find a way to keep my hands just as warm.”

“The jacket is bright, light weight and water resistant. Exactly what I wanted Customer service was very helpful with this purchase. I have actually worn the jacket several times as a running shell over a hoody in 10 degree weather - staying toasty. Great product.”

“I have used and washed this jacket for two months now. The lowest temperature used was 18 degrees. It kept me warm using a base layer. When I started to sweat, the side venting helped with moisture control. The only negative so far is the zipper pocket opening is too small for a cellphone or a small wallet. This issue can be corrected on the design table. Please fix.”

“Excellent light warm weatherproof very light jacket. Have to pair with a nice base layer. Excellent wind protection. It is so good that I have been also using it when clearing and shoveling snow here in this very wintry Northeast. Going on walks and hikes. I do wish it was offered in a 'relaxed' version that would fit less athletic, but, still very active older riders. I normally use a large jacket. Here I went with 2XL so sleeves folded back and length hangs a bit low.”

“Perfect for temps from 20-45 F. A base layer and the jacket does just fine for temps around 30 F. If it reaches around 40 I usually unzip the jacket till the very end. Pockets are great. The jacket runs TTS.”
