“I bought these bibs SOLELY for the Elastic Interface (EI) chamois. I caught a cycling podcast extolling how awesome these chamois were, so I sought out a supplier who used EI. I contacted EI in Italy and they sent me over to Pactimo. I must admit this chamois isn’t what I had hoped for. It causes chafing to the point that I notice it while riding. And the ENTIRE purpose of your bibs is for them to disappear while riding. These don’t. Don’t get me wrong, the fit, materials and construction of these bibs are as good as I’ve ever seen – and I’ve owned brands that are considered to be at the top of the industry. But these just aren’t providing the “12 hour” comfort they profess. I’m lucky if I get an hour out of these before the chafing begins. Since I can’t return them, they’ll be relegated to mountain biking when rides are shorter and a lot more time is spent out of the saddle. Too bad. I was so hoping these would be the Holy Grail…”
