Love the shorts, have 2 pair of this style. First set is for a MTB I help coach and they held up well all season and fit great. I am 5'9" and 170 and ordered a size L.

These shorts have a good comfortable feel without being so baggy that they get stuck on the saddle. I find that they stay put when being used along with the Apex big liners. The material also seems to have good flexibility and are light without feeling like they might rip. They also work great for the post ride beer stop.

These are comfortable shorts with plenty of storage options. They could do with a waist adjustment feature or some grippy material around the waist as they tend to creep down especially when you combine them with bibshorts.

The material is very light and I hardly noticed it while pedaling. However, even after sizing up they were a bit tight on my thighs while being a little loose in the waist. They also seemed to pull down slightly while riding and every 20-30 min I had to pull them up an inch or so. I don’t have to do this with other shorts that have a bit of elastic built into the rear above the butt. But it wasn’t a huge deal as I was stopped at the same time for a bite to eat.

These are nice, lightweight shorts that work well paired with the apex bib liners. They seem to fit true to size, albeit a little more adjustability in the waist would be nice - why is why I docked one star. I’m 5’9”, 152lbs with a 31” waist, and I have to pull the waist adjustment all the way tight to keep the waist from slipping down a bit while riding. Would be nice to have a bit more firm adjustment, rather than an elastic internal band to help keep the shorts up around the waist.

I've put them through the wringer, ridden in the rain, landed in Devil's Club and Cow Parsnip. Superman in gravel. There isn't a snag, hole, rip or tear on the shorts nor on the liners I was wearing under them. Despite coating them in mud their are no stains. Hidden in the waist band are two adjustable elastic straps. The fit while not generous at the thigh is sufficient for movement without billowing in the wind. The seat is just enough to cover without catching on the saddle nose.
