“This base layer really keeps you warm. However, when you wash it, it smells like burnt hair. I wash it following the directions (cold and line dry). First time I washed it I thought something had crawled into my washer and died. Once it dries, it doesn't smell. I found that it also feels a bit awkward when you are standing up off the bike; it feels like you put a shirt on backwards. I would still buy a second one...”

“Just came back from a ride with base later. Temperature in the 30’s, real feel in the 20’s, and gusts up to 30 miles an hour. I was absolutely toasty. Thanks Pactimo.”

“I use this as a baselayer on the coldest of days; it does a great job of trapping heat, but allowing sweat to be wicked away. My rule for layering is not more than three layers, ever, and this merino wool is a great base. I'm a big guy, so it fits kinda tight; you might want to size up. Highly recommend!”
