“I was looking for a heavier vest to be able to layer on cold spring rides but also use through the summer and fall, and this vest fit the bill perfectly! It's thick enough to really block out the wind and keep you warm, and the pockets on the back mean you won't have to fumble your way underneath to pull out a phone or energy bar. At first the turtle-neck seemed a bit overkill but it's been a life saver on a few long descents. All in all, this was exactly what I was looking for and I can't see myself going back to a jacket anytime soon.”

“Used the vest during a training camp in Arizona. Didn't want to mess with a jacket descending on Lemmon or Kitt Peak but this vest did the trick. Could have paired with arm warmers but the vest was plenty warm! Size medium worked well for me (5'10, 155lbs).”

“I had been looking for a mid weight vest for a few weeks and decided on the Breckenridge vest. I have to stick to American manufacturers since Euro made clothing just hasn't fit correctly. I am 6'1" and 195 lbs. Athletic build. Size large was a perfect choice. I have paired it with the Alpine thermal jersey and was comfortable with the weather in the 40's. The 3 pockets in the back are great addition to a jersey that typically will remain on throughout the ride. I really liked the double zipper. Sometimes the function is a bit awkward but when the lower zipper is raised, you can easily reach back to access your jersey pockets. Extremely pleased with my purchase.”

“It's winter in NYC and I wear this vest all the time with a base layer, Ascent jersey and arm warmers and I am good into the high 30's. Very durable. Looks great. Love the three pockets. Keeps in the warmth. A really terrific vest. I can't recommend it enough. Flawless.”

“This vest ticks all the boxes for San Diego winter. I've worn in comfortably with base layer, Ascent jersey, and arm warmers down to about 40 in the early morning chill and it's worked great!”

“Excellent quality materials and workmanship. Robust YKK double zipper is a special treat. Weighs 205 g (7.2 oz) by my scale, and rolls up small enough to stuff in a jersey pocket. Large fits my 180 cm (5'11"), 72.5 kg (160 lb) frame snugly. Will be used for both biking and running.”
