Protection against liquid damage
The Duo backpack vacuum features a specialised by-pass motor to deliver additional motor protection for areas where accidental suction of liquid may occur.
As a backpack it will give you increased freedom to move and tackle hard to reach areas with ease, with a motor providing strong suction power to see you power through your daily vacuuming tasks.
Duo comes with our Ecoharness which features three levels of height adjustability, comfortable thick padding, a breathable mesh backing and is made from at least 50% recycled plastic materials.
This vacuum features a pre-motor cone filter, delivering cleaner air for your environment.
With an 18m cord, the Duo offers a total cleaning surface area of 1159m2. The cord holder keeps your cord neat and tidy, preventing tripping and tangling hazards.
*Duo comes with five disposable paper cone dust bags and two reusable SMS cone dust bags in the box.

“This is a nice vacuum but the design with the power cord is horrible difficult to manage. Looking for a way to have the power cord to be retractable. And the bottom Velcro strap gets stuck on clothing it should have the same clip as the top strap .”

Hi Belinda Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We do not offer a retractable cord feature, the challenges lie in the extended 18-meter cord length and the mechanisms required. Regrettably, incorporating these features may compromise the durability. The loud operation you're experiencing could be due to the specialised by-pass motor design we've implemented. This design is aimed at providing additional protection in case of accidental liquid suction, but it may result in increased noise compared to standard motors. “Great suction love how the cord set up for easy and cost effective replacement when needed. The harness is very comfortable. Great value for money. The only very minor issue is that the vacuum is a little louder than other backpack vacuums I have used. Would recommend to others”

Generally, 2-stage by-pass motors tend to be louder due to their more complex design and higher airflow requirements. This design allows for higher suction power and better performance, but it also tends to generate more noise due to the increased air turbulence and the presence of multiple stages.
