Hi Anonymous, the M device works using micro current. It gets down onto a cellular level so you don't actually feel it. It does have a TENS booster button on the front of the device if you want to get a little TENS boost. The M also runs on a 10 hour timer which is perfect for getting treatment whilst you are asleep, and the booster button gives a 15 minute TENS boost.
