“I got this to make for my dad for his birthday which was New Years Eve. I really liked the color abstract showed online and that they actually had one online that had a gun. I did not receive 2 colors right off the bat (purchased in September) and I received those in a few weeks- free of charge. Then I noticed that I ran at of the orange color and requested more. I did not drop any of the beads, I was simply just not supplied enough. I requested more of that color and sadly (refer to the photo) that it was not the same dye lot when I received it. I contacted PWD through Facebook about this and was replied with "We are truly sorry for the frustrations over this, we go by the DMC color coding chart, sometimes the dye can be slightly off from one batch to another. " Even though I received good customer service from PWD both occasions, this is frustrating when a slight change can completely change the how it turns out. Maybe because I am the harshest critic of myself, I personally do not think this design looks very good at 20x55cm. Not sure if the different color orange affects it positively or not. I know that "larger" the better for quality, but parts of the gun I feel look poorly outlined and should not matter of the size. I was really excited to do this for my father but was disappointed overall with the process and the outcome. Took me 2 months to longer then planned to finish.”
