“The mirror for the price is very good. The main slightly annoying thing I found with it was once it is fitted to the car it is very flexible where the mirror pivots and bounces up and down when closing the door or going over bumps etc. I jammed some hard rubber I cut and shaped to fit in the groove at the front of mirror and it basically stopped nearly all the flexing. It is not as solid as OEM mirror in that area. But again for the money it fits well and works fine.”
“The original holden side mirror did not have any magnification. However this aftermarket version does, so vehicles will look further away than they actually are. Personally, I like this as you get a wider angle. The mirror came with new screws.
Fitting the mirror involves quite a bit of work as you need to remove the door trim, but you won't have any issues if you are aware that you need to remove the screw behind the internal door handle and the screw behind the black plastic lock plunger also on the inside. The plunger is removed by inserting a small screwdriver behind the red plastic plug on the plunger and popping it out. You also need to remove the small triangular plastic trim connected to the mirror on the inside of the door, by pulling it or levering it out from the the door.”
