“The rubber pad that fits underneath the handle was missing, I assume this pad helps to keep dust and water from entering the inner door.
The panel beater when fitting the handie had to adjust a couple of the levers in the handle to make it operate correctly.
Apart from the above, the door handle now opens the door again.”
“2 days before I found panelhouse I was talking to a friend about how Nissan should make these with metal workings as the original all plastic one has too much pressure on a single point of the plastic construction.
I bought this as a test specifically due to the price compared to original part, The fit was good and almost as easy as original (this working is a little longer so took about 20 seconds of extra thought to get it into hole on door.)
The only downside is the lever on this is closer to the casing holder than the origianl, meaning handle had to be completely opened before door was opened. I put 3 small split washers on the wire under the ball and all was fixed, working perfectly and much stronger than nissan original.
