“This product is all metal, which is why I purchased it. It was fitted to a 1998 PD Courier Crew Cab tailgate. I found that I had to shorten the un-threaded portion of the studs to get it in, and also had to panel beat some extra room in the tailgate cover panel for the lever mechanism to work without interference. Over all, I think it should last a lot longer than the plastic one it replaced.”
