“After fitting the new regulator the motor was so weak that I completely stripped the door of all rubbers (around the window), cleaned and reassembled. The new regulator still wouldn’t lift the window even with the engine running and getting a full 14.5volts.
When reinstalling the old regulator, it was strong enough to keep going for awhile…
BTW I am an Ex mechanic and know what I’m doing.
Looking elsewhere now for when next time comes.
