“Don’t fit the best had to drill the holes out bigger and mirrors bounce around a little and have to re adjust after a couple of days but I didn’t expect to be genuine quality for the price”
“Many thanks for supplying the above external mirrors for my 70-series landcruiser. The mirror glass isn't seated in its retaining cover too well (although it hasn't fallen out), and the holes for the mounting screws are off camber for the installation such that I had to modify the holes by: A - widening to permit OEM screws to fit (which they did not owing to a thicker mounting body than the OEM mounting bracket counterparts), and B - widening the diametre of the mounting holes to accommodate a larger hex-bolt head, as the alignment of the mounting holes to door anchoring point angles are out by a few degrees.
The mounting holes are certainly at right-angles to the mirrors' vertical axial plane, but this is off kilter with the door-skin angle-shape off the vertical plane. Indeed, the molded shape of the mounting body is similar to the door shape, but not exact. There does need be further filing of the mounting body to suit a snug fit. The kit does not include extra bolts, nor flange gasket, which was the first disappointment when the box was opened on arrival.
Nevertheless, I managed a successful installation. But not without unnecessary further engineering.

“Quality finnish and function of mirrors is excellent, however a casting fault makes the installation time consuming due to the bolt holes being not quite in the correct place.”
“the bolt holes are a little out you need to drill the holes bigger and use 6mm
Counter sunk bolts and everything is good . I also ground the head of the Csk
for more clearance in the mirror base to screw in . A great mirror much better
than original. Service and delivery was excellent. Thank-you”
