“Decided to buy a new petrol flap rather than a 2nd hand one, even though it was already painted the right colour. The new one was subjected to a flexibility test by my daughter - being a pushy 14yr old, she just pushed past me after a fill to get back in the car bumped the flap doubled over in pain the flap got tangled in her hoody pockets as she fell to the ground "in absolute pain" but the flap/hoody entanglement slowed her fall and nearly ripped the hoody off over her head.
I least I laughed, she didn't think it was funny, but I'm sure a 2nd's flap would have been a bit more brittle and snapped like her temper.
Go the new one.
