Is your harness a perfect fit? No but it’s as good as I will get without making one for him myself

How does the PerfectFit Harness benefit your dog? His local walks where he is territorial are the ones where he most wants to lunge at other dogs. Obviously I am working with him on this but in the harness he doesn’t choke himself when he does lunge

“Perfect Fit is the only firm I have found that recognises that dogs come in different shapes that need 'made to measure' tailoring. All the other harnesses I can see online are like buying 'off-the-peg'. I see harnesses that would fit my dog around the base of his neck (40 cm) but then the chest measurement that goes with 40 cm is only around 50cm (much too small). If I go for a chest measurement of 60 cm then the paired neck base measurement is usually around 50 cm -- much too big. Mine has a big chest, but a relatively slender neck. Perfect Fit is the only mix-and-match harness I have come across where I can try a big girth and a slender neck. And get help if the fit isn’t quite right.”

How does the PerfectFit Harness benefit your dog? It fits well, securely, and she can walk well in it

“My Labrador puppy really hates wearing a harness. The previous one was a nightmare and I could see it was uncomfortable for her. These are soft, padded a little around the pressure points and in a nice fleecy fabric. It is easy to get on and off. The customer service was excellent in terms of getting me a good fit that she can grow into. I really appreciate the modular design so that as she grows I might only need one or two more pieces, not the whole thing again. I can't say she has entirely accepted the harness just yet, but it is a vast improvement on the previous one and I know that with more treats and practice she will be happy with it. Importantly, she does actually walk in it and not fight it all the way. I also appreciate the fact that all of the straps are on a loop, not just hanging free, as she would certainly find dangling straps a great distraction and opportunity to chew. I actually have one with dangling straps, they are made like that, as foolish as it is for a dog. Very happy with this product. Great quality.”
