Trigger Warning: animal abuse
I purchased a townhouse in March 2021. The stench of stale urine coming from the single car garage was intense. It could be easily smelled from outside of the garage with the door closed. It was disgusting. A tenant had allegedly given his wife two kittens and she'd left them in the garage for 1-2 years depending on who tells me the tale, without a litter tray or feeding bowls.
I bought a 5L bottle of PetLab's product having hope but not really expecting it to do much. To my delight, after six treatments and 2.5 litres of product the smell was completely gone. It has remained gone for months, right through winter, through dry weather and humid weather.
I also borrowed a blacklight lamp which showed where the urine was. Basically it was everywhere. There wasn't an inch of space in the entire garage that didn't light up at least a little bit.
For each treatment I lightly hosed the garage, squeegeed out the excess water, then sprayed the area laying down cheap plastic drop sheets from Bunnings each time. It took six treatments.
I highly recommend leaving 10-14 days between treatments as the smell becomes stronger the treatment is applied, and then fades getting weaker each time.

“I bought this product after my male cat sprayed 3 or 4 times on my fabric couch. I'll be honest, I didn't clean at time and it left a dirty stain. When my pet lab product arrived, I drowned it and area around it with the spray. I followed directions and let the spray dry. I panicked thinking I'd made the stain bigger and worse then the original stain but I continued following directions and used a wet cloth cleaning the whole 2 seats. Bam, all the unclean stains disappeared when the water dried and my couch looks brand new. So it removed the stain. Now came the sniff test. All I could smell was a light scent of vanilla. I have wooden floors and my cat vomited a fur ball today on it. A little stain. Even though only wooden boards, I sprayed it.
