This was my second AirSoap. If the price is kept reasonable I plan to purchase additional units.

This is my second purchase of an AirSoap purifier. The first was the X5 for the living room and dining area, and the X3 for my daughters bedroom. I have had electrostatic precipitators for years, mainly from Trion. They were loud, difficult to clean, and harder to maintain. So far, both of these units have been flawless. I run them 24/7 on full auto, and they throttle up when we are cooking, or when the air quality starts to become unhealthy. I have seen the X5 take the AQI from 450 down to 7 in about 45 minutes after frying bacon or burning something in the toaster oven. I'm contemplating purchasing another X5 for the master bedroom in the future. As to ease of cleaning, the collection grids are a piece of cake to clean. This was one of my main pet peaves over the Trion units. After cleaning the metal grids, you literally had to keep the units out of service for 24-48 hours to make sure the collection plates were totally dry. I put one back in service once after 30 hours and blew out the high voltage transformer. Not a big deal as it was easily changed, but totally unnecessary had the collection plates been totally dry. The AirSoap's plates are totally dry in about two hours. We live in New York City, and as a general rule, we keep our central air on all the time and never open windows. Even without opening windows, when cleaning the plates, the water comes out dark grey to almost black. Clearly pulling the soot and particulate matter out of the air. I do have a laboratory grade air quality monitor that monitors not only the AQI but CO/CO2/O2/nitous oxide and particulate levels, and since installing the AirSoap cleaners the air quality monitor stays in the dark green (healthy) range, except when cooking, and is almost in lockstep with the AQI on the AirSoap. I cannot speak to longevity as they units have been deployed only for a month now. There's not much to go wrong with them, and the maintenance is relatively easy to perform,

Customer service is BAD. We have had a number of these products breakdown and we had to send back for repairs. Each time we had to jump thru hoops to get them fixed. Had to wait for months for phonesoap to returned items. Always giving excuses. Customer service does not care about their loyal customers. We have spend over $3,000 on their products. We will no longer be purchasing the PhoneSoap.

My family and friends have been loyal phone soap customers since 2020. This year’s mothers and Father’s Day gifts were toothbrush sanitizers. Bought our first air soap in 2020. We just had a family outbreak of Covid and needed a 2nd air soap to help keep our homes clean. We paid the extra $85 in shipping to get it in 3 days. This the year 2024 and the air soap we received was made in 2020 (4 years ago!!). It had sat for so long the strapping tape had disintegrated leaving its threads bonded to the air soap. I took the $85 loss and returned the air soap .

I wouldn’t recommend I bought two one is already burned out before the warranty. The unit will charge but will not activate when the little door is closed multiple emails for warranty work and support. No response from company, if you want to throw money away by these.

After 1 week the AirSoap started to make a grinding high pitched sound. Additionally I am unable to get a hold of anyone at PhoneSoap to exchange it. The chat feature does not work and my e-mails were returned.
