“I purchased my first Phonesoap in 2015. It lasted me until 2020. I really loved it. It felt quality and was the first version so it only came in black and white. It died in 2020, after 5 years. Fair enough. I purchased another one, a nicer one in gold. It died a few months ago, which is 2 years shorter than the first. Now, I've purchased this white basic one because apparently, these electronics don't last forever so why waste money on a pretty looking one? This one is so cheap! It has an extremely flimsy, saran wrap-like partition to set your phone on top of instead of hard glass or plastic like with previous ones. I feel like I might poke a hole through it, ruining it. Also, the cord is SO short, I can't get it to reach anything and I can't find a longer cord to replace it. I am super disappointed with Phonesoap cheaping out with short cords and flimsy partitions.”

“I can't speak to its effectiveness, for that you just have to trust PhoneSoap's claims. But it's easy to use, and the basic version's low price was attractive. My iPhone 12 Pro fits in with room to spare, case-on. With the MagSafe wallet attached it's about 1-2mm too thick so I have to sanitize them separately (2x10min cycles), which is a little inconvenient.”
