Bought an iPhone XS (64GB) [Grade A] for $745.90. I really wanted to leave a positive feedback but my experience wasn't so great honestly. I have a bit of experience in opening phones and doing repairs by myself... Always bought phones from private, this is the only time I decided to spend a bit more for a refurbished hoping it would be worth it. Phone had a bit of glue around the edges but it looked good anyway from the outside. The problem was that the battery was clearly moving inside the body of the phone. Being quite heavy I could definitely feel it everytime I was grabbing the phone. Also, their grade A ensured a battery capacity of at least 85% (which btw is not really a lot in my opinion). Mine was at 86% but in one day dropped to 85% (in fact the battery performances on charge weren't great at all) but, I have to say, this was specified in one of their website page. They then offered to fix and change the battery with a brand new one so I rented a car for 35$ to go to their Reservoir store. I told them multiple times I was going to leave the country in 3 days, so there was no other available times to do more fixes. Once there they changed and fix the battery in about 45 mins. Problem was that they obviously put a non genuine Apple battery but a third party brand instead (third party are well known to be not so great in the long run). Worst and most annoying part is that now I have a fixed message in setting which says "important message about your battery".. this is because the phone recognizes that the battery is not genuine. Also, I really have no way to check if the maximum capacity is really 100%. At least now the battery is not moving anymore. But I feel like I ended up having more problems than before and a fix error message which is impossible to get rid off. They then offered again help obviously but I am overseas now (they knew that), so really..... I kinda gave up and kept the phone as it is. Personally, knowing phones, I can now say I could have found a better deal buying from a private as I always did, a bit of regret.....definitely. I spent 745$ + 35$ for the car. Total of 780$ for a XS 64gb with a fixed error message and not genuine Apple battery is not worth it to me. I won't use again their service personally. Thank you for bringing this up. As previously discussed and mentioned in your review that you were offered repair options on your first visit and upon highlighting the battery error message you were offered to have it looked at but you refrained to come to the store and ended up sending us messages for a partial refund. We could have sorted the issue by repairing or replacing it like we replaced the battery but we were not given a chance. We are renowned for the customer service and guaranteed quality of the products but in case the customer does not cooperate then Phonebot alone could not do anything for you. We will still be happy to have the issue resolved by repairing or replacing the device f this is delivered to us. Plus the battery not original message is just a new feature by Apple where an original device detects the battery replacement by 3rd party. This message will stop popping up after a while and will not disrupt anything. After all battery's performance capacity percentage is also guaranteed to be more than 85% under the 6 months limited warranty. We request you to rethink about the review and let us know if there is any problem with the functionality of the phone. Sincerely, Phonebot Customer Service.
Phone came safe and sound with cover and screen protector would be happy to purchase from Phonebot again
