“I‘ve been clunking around in the rain in a pair of Tretorn rain boots for years. They were too big, even though they were my size, and way too wide in the calf. Finally I got sick enough of them and went in search of something better. I was looking for something with a slim calf, to accommodate my chicken legs. After reading a couple of reviews of the Planone boots that said they run large, I ordered a 7. I'm usually 8-8.5. These fit me perfectly. They're still not as narrow in the calf as I'd like. Mine measure 13“ at their widest, and these are about an inch and a half wider than that, but wayyyyyyyyyyyy better than the Tretorn ones.They are comfortable, and light. Their first test was here in NY during the rain we got from Hurricane Ida. It was torrential, but my doggie wanted to go out, and because I adore him, out we went. We walked for about 15 minutes, sloshing through huge puddles and when we got back, my feet were perfectly dry. I wish I could say the same about the doggie:)I'm so satisfied with these boots. I will update if anything changes.”
“Very cute, and fit just right. I‘m a 7 1/2 and that's what I ordered. True to size. I returned them though to get the all pink ones instead. Love these rain boots”
“Would not fit around my calves. My calves are larger (~16.5 inches in circumference) and the boots would not fit around them. This is based on a size 7.5 purchased. I returned the next day.”
