“My daughter picked out these Planone tall rain boots in the yellow. Ever practical, I was like, “are you sure you want yellow and not black?" When these arrived and we opened the box, we both knew she had made the right choice! You can‘t help but smile when you look at these, and what could be better for a rainy day than dry feet and a smile! The color is a touch more pastel than in the product description picture, which we actually prefer. We like that they are one piece, so no seams to split or let in water. They have a back finger loop to help you pull them on, or to aid in hanging. They have a decent tread for traction in the rain and mud, and they fit great! She is slim and has a narrower foot. If you have thick calves or wide feet, I would not recommend. These came nicely boxed too which I appreciate. Many shoes we order online arrive thrown in a plastic bag! All in all, we are very happy and can't wait to jump in some puddles!”

“I was a little worried that these might still be too bulky in the calve area, even after seeing they don‘t accommodate a thicker calve, but they're still baggy on me in the calves. I measured mine at the widest point and I received an 8.5 US shoe. My calves are left side 13 and 3/4 inch, and right side right at 14 inches if that gives anyone perspective. I felt like I could have easily had 1-2 more inches in circumference and fit these just fine. I'm 5'7“ and around 140 lbs right now.I usually wear a 25.5 cm or an 8.5 US. These ran just a little bit big on me, but I wouldn't want to half size down because the toe box is a little narrow. I have a bit of boney protrusion on the outside of my feet, almost like bunions, but it's part of my foot structure. I don't know if it was an issue as a kid, but it's just life now and I usually wear a cross trainer or sneaker with a good toe box and it's never an issue. Anyway, the narrow end of the boot tapers suddenly and I prefer this in my usual 8.5 size because with a heavy sock they aren't loose at all, and are still comfortable, and my foot isn't constrained at the end near the toes.I have a swampy yard and these do great at keeping my socks dry. I didn't have any moisture leak in and these are going to be great around the farm. I did notice the treads and side grooves pick up grass and mud substantially, however they're super easy to clean by spraying down with the water hose. Love the boots and they're quite a fair price, too. The bright yellow really stands out, and it helps me be seen if I'm working at dusk. I'd definitely get these again.”
