“Ok, so the length of the rain exposure I think is the key to its being waterproof. They were great for walking about 20-26 minutes in light-to-medium-heavy rain, but on a trip to Seattle where it rained all day and I wore them in the rain for about 6 hours while visiting the sights, I discovered that my feet were wet when I took them off. Still better than any non-waterproof footwear, though, but not ideal.”
“I ordered this pair for my daughter and a black pair for myself. My only complaint is that both pairs have a palpable seam up the middle of the boot, on top. Although she finds these to be comfortable for all day wear with a heel cup, my feet hurt after a day in mine even with an insert. They are truly waterproof and super cute. The wine color is less plastic rain boot looking then the black.She wears a 6.6 and the 6 fit her well (not offered in a 6.6). I wear a 7.6 prefer a wide shoe and the 7.6 fits me well. Good deal for the price.”
